Michele “Shelli” Wainwright

With a degree in design from East Carolina University, Shelli has established her Design and Decorating expertise through a career spanning more than 23 years.

In 1994, she and her brother, Todd Garris, began their business dream by teaming together and opening Details Design. Details Design began as a quaint little retail shop located in their home town of Farmville, NC.  Their focus at that time was to provide a unique combination of residential furniture, accessories, custom painting, and design consultation services.

A few years later, a Floral Design Shop was added to their diversified list of business skills. After several successful years with the floral design, the decision was made to sell this branch in order to better focus on their ever expanding Design and Flooring business. Through increasing customer demand, this was the next logical step.

Thus, Details Design & Flooring, Inc. was born. The focus shifted to fill a niche of offering Professional Design Services for both residential and commercial projects, as well as an extensive line of in house flooring capabilities to complement the vision of the designs.

From start to finish, Shelli takes on each project with a refined sense of organization for details, fresh innovative solutions, creative flare and a genuine focus on the client’s needs.
